PREDICTIONS

Since many of you out there KNOW something WEIRD is going on, but can’t quite put your finger on it AND don’t have the time for research - I am going to do it for you.  Remember a time where it was rare to hear of infertility?  People didn’t even know what it meant to be ‘barren’ - at one time believed to be a curse.  Now everywhere you go you hear about people not being able to have kids.  We are bombarded with Fertility Clinics and Pharmaceuticals are making a killing with Fertility Drugs.

What does this have to do with the Mayans?!  Aren’t the Mayans known for being an ancient civilization with one of the highest fertility rates? That is correct!  They believed in early procreation and their fertility methods were amongst the most effective and successful known in history.  Although many of you are familiar with their predictions for the year 2012, I’m sure you are unaware of the fact that they also predicted a time of INFERTILITY right before the ‘End of the Calendar’- 2012. No matter how healthy and fertile men and women will seem to be, it will be a time of ‘CHILDREN OF MEN’ (did you see that movie in 2006?  I loved the first half, disappointed with 2nd half) - no offsprings!  No one will seem to be able to reproduce.  INFERTILITY is supposed to be one of the signs of the ‘End Days‘.

What does that have to do with TODAY?  When I was growing up, everyone was pushing babies - old men, young women, middle-aged women.  Today, I am surrounded by infertility, fruitless wombs and sperms that just don’t stick.  Now that I am all-grown-up, I know at least 20 people that cannot have children.  Yes, both male and female.  Furthermore, they know at least 20 that somehow cannot or have not reproduced themselves.  I know at least 3 that are fertile yet, they are called the ‘incompatibles‘: reproductive systems’ intact, every part healthy, fertile and ready for the ‘baby boom’, but no matter what they do, they simply cannot conceive.  Wow!

More and more contraceptive pills are being created/distributed that reduce the menstrual cycle to as little as once a year and keep women from getting pregnant.  A month ago, a new drug came out on TV that will keep women from getting pregnant for 5 YEARS!!  Yes, that means that no matter what the strength of the sperm, ovaries will not receive (of course, it is only logical that ectopic pregnancies would be one of the many side effects).  What if it IS true?!  Guess the Mayans knew something we didn’t because TODAY, they are right!  For those of you who don’t believe - do your own research.  You’ll see.  Want to hear more about this?  Read the followup blog on Infertility.
